Palazzo Uguccioni
Palazzo Uguccioni is a historic residence overlooking Piazza della Signoria, one of the most famous squares in the world, whose monuments are universally valued humankind’s masterpieces. Its impressive Renaissance façade, built by Mariotto di Zanobi Folfi in 1549
and presumably designed by Raffaello, leads to an older medieval lobby, which proves that the palace dates back to the time when Piazza della Signoria was the core of a very active Florentine life.
Today, you can feel the same atmosphere of that time staying in one of the oldest
palaces of Florence: you will feel the excitement of waking up facing the fascinating
scenario of Piazza della Signoria.
Live a unique experience in the heart of culture and history of one of the most beautiful art’s cities of the world!
Arriving by Train
Florence’s main train station is called “Santa Maria Novella”. The station is about
10-15 minutes walking from Palazzo Uguccioni; however, we recommend taking a taxi to
the Palazzo if you have any luggage, since it can be difficult pulling luggage
across our ancient cobblestone streets! There are taxi stands at the station, and
you can tell your driver to take you to #7 Piazza della Signoria. Make online train
reservations, or check train times online here:
